What makes it special?
The Allwetter Waterproof classic rug is perfect for everyday use in the paddock or pasture. Depending on your horse's needs, the rug is available in four versions - 0 g, 50 g, 150 g or 300 g. The rug is suitable for all weathers thanks to its waterproof and dirt-repellent coating. The materials of the rug are lightweight and have a perfect fit to provide maximum comfort.
Fabrics & materials
The Allwetter Waterproof Classic 50g rug is made from 600D ripstop polyester with a breathable, waterproof coating. This structure makes the rug very tear-resistant. The lining of the rug is made of smooth, antibacterial 210T polyester and is easy to clean as it does not smell and hair does not stick to it. The 50g filling is made of PES fibres, which offers comparable performance to down and forms an insulating layer around your horse. The combination of these materials will keep your horse dry in all weathers.
Shape & Size
Our waterproof classic has no seam on the back of the rug, preventing the risk of leaks. For extra warmth, you can use the turnout rug with an under rug such as the Classic under rug. If your horse needs even more protection, you can buy a detachable neck piece separately. The rug is designed in the typical Kentucky style: It has 2 stainless steel brass fasteners at the front, combined with a strong Velcro fastener, two cross surcingles and a detachable tail cord.
Care instructions
The Allwetter Waterproof Classic rug can be washed at 30°. To keep the rug waterproof, we recommend applying a new waterproof coating after washing more than five times. Do not tumble dry the blanket.
